Denise has a strong background in behavioral health and special education. Since joining CCPS in 2019, she has progressed through several roles—starting as Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) and Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), then advancing to Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS), and now leading as Clinical Director and BCBA.
She is known for her dedication to client progress, conducting comprehensive behavioral and adaptive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, analyzing data, and ensuring effective skill transfer across various environments. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she provides supervision and mentorship to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and Behavior Consultants (BCs). Denise’s career also includes experience in public welfare, supporting children and family safety.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from California University of Pennsylvania/PennWest California, and a Master of Education in Special Education/Applied Behavior Analysis from Slippery Rock University. She is a Licensed Behavior Specialist and earned her BCBA certification in April 2024.
